As you know, for some of our “Bike Tours” we have had the pleasure of involving in our “Bike Crew” Greta Seiwald a young South Tyrolean MTB rider under 23 who thanks to us is discovering that cycling is not just training, races and racing, but also the discovery of the territory in a more “slow” and above all a natural connection with what surrounds us.
This does not mean that our Greta no longer races, indeed from this year the change of team and the transition to the Pro-Team Focus-Selle Italia, has allowed her to face new challenges and above all return to be one of the main protagonists of the national and international MTB world.
It is so that a couple of weekends ago in Pila (Ao), Greta has achieved a beautiful and amazing result at the National Championships of MTB XCO reaching a great 3rd place finish. A really fantastic result that she wants to tell us in this way:
“What can I say… I trained really hard for tgis years’ italian championship. I did an altitude trainingscamp in Livigno for nearly 3 weeks to prepare this period of racing (2 worldcup races Val di sole and Andorra, and italian champs). My shape was getting better and better race by race so I was just motivated to put it all together at Pila! The track was awsome! Techincal! Hard! Fantastic!
Also during my race I felt really strong. I went on with a high speed but also regular. So passing the finish line as 3rd rider after 90min all out was just great!”
Really a great performance for us once of Bike Experience lovers of “Experiential Tourism” done calmly allows us to exult for those with fatigue and sweat the bike lives also from the Agonistic point of view.
And so as always to our “Girl Rider” waiting to see her and have her with us on the next excursions between Lake Garda and Verona we say a big #dajegreta ….
